GNCCI Accra Branch Hosts Strategic Forum to Equip Businesses for Economic Uncertainty

The Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) Accra Branch recently convened its Executive Business Forum under the theme “Navigating Economic Uncertainty: Strategic Outlook for Ghanaian Businesses.” The event brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders committed to the growth and development of Ghana’s private sector.

Mr. Ekow Mensah, Managing Consultant at VentureScale, emphasized the importance of business leaders staying informed and curious to navigate changes and drive growth. He highlighted the need for awareness beyond one’s immediate business environment, including politics, international markets, and industry trends. Mr. Mensah also advised strengthening networking skills to gain diverse insights and adopting a resilient mindset to persevere through challenges.

Mr. Alexander Bewong, Second Vice president of GNCCI, addressed the forum, noting the pressures on both global and local economic landscapes. He discussed international trade tensions and domestic monetary policy adjustments aimed at curbing inflation, projected at 17.5% for 2025. Mr. Bewong encouraged businesses to remain focused on long-term macroeconomic developments and assured that GNCCI would continue collaborating with stakeholders to protect and position businesses for resilience and recovery.

Mr. Imram Shams Kwakye, GNCCI Accra Regional Chairman, reaffirmed the Chamber’s dedication to advocating for a vibrant and competitive business environment.

The forum underscored GNCCI’s commitment to providing platforms that foster strategic thinking and collaboration among Ghanaian businesses.
