Accra, Ghana – 9 May 2025 – Mr Stephane Abbas Miezan, President of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI), played a pivotal role at the 2025 Forum Africain de la Révolution Industrielle (FARI) in Cotonou, Benin.
FARI 2025 convened an exceptional gathering of young innovators, visionary entrepreneurs, and institutional leaders from across the continent. The forum provided a premier platform for presenting solutions to Africa’s most pressing development challenges, leveraging technology, entrepreneurship, and sustainable industrialisation.
As a jury member, President Miezan evaluated a range of exceptional, youth-led initiatives. Reflecting on the experience, he remarked: “It was a privilege to engage with these brilliant young Africans. Their energy, creativity, and resilience are truly inspiring.”
In his keynote address, President Miezan articulated the GNCCI’s vision for cultivating a robust innovation ecosystem in Ghana and beyond. He emphasised the indispensable role of Africa’s youth in spearheading the next industrial revolution and called for enhanced collaboration among government, business, and academia to unlock new growth opportunities. His remarks resonated with Ghana’s national priorities of digital transformation, economic diversification, and private-sector empowerment.
GNCCI’s prominent presence at FARI 2025 aligns with its strategic ambition to position Ghanaian enterprises as competitive players in the global marketplace. President Miezan’s dual contribution—as evaluator and speaker—reinforced the Chamber’s leadership in supporting innovation-driven development and fostering cross-border cooperation.
