GNCCI ORIENTS GHANAIAN BUSINESSES ON US TRADE LAWS TO MAXIMIZE AGOA BENEFITS
The Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI)
has led a Ghanaian business delegation to participate in the AGOA Expo & Trade Fair 2019 in New York. The event organised by Bizness Group LLC is meant to provide a cultural and business platform to celebrate US-African cooperation, strengthen bilateral trade relations, and promote AGOA key export products and investment.
The opening ceremony was held on Friday, 6th December, 2019 at 25 Broadway, New York under the chairmanship of the President of GNCCI, Nana Dr. Appiagyei Dankawoso I. The welcoming address was delivered by Severin Coulibaly, CEO of Bizness Group LLC.
In his remarks, Nana Dr. Dankawoso I expressed the Chamber’s endorsement for initiatives that promote and protect commercial and industrial interests. He noted that the event is meant to provide opportunity for American companies to explore sourcing opportunities in Africa, expand their business or introduce new products, services in AGOA eligible countries with direct access to authorities and business leaders for new partnerships and joint ventures.
